However, alot of the past memories were ones from the relationship between Adam and Mia and it was SO GOOD to see more of their relationship (since Mia’s flashbacks weren’t just about Adam). throwing tantrums and some of the err.activities that he was engaging – ugh, I mean I get it dude.your heart is broken but really? The story telling method is similar to If I Stay in that it goes back and forth between the present and past. My heart ached for Adam half the time and the other half I was seriously pissed at him because he was just acting childish i.e. Poor guy doesnt even know why Mia left him. Where She Went is told from Adam’s point of view.and boy is he damaged – “battle scars” in his words. But I’ll do my best to explain in words how completely and utterly wonderful this book is. A facial expression or some kind of half-squeel half-sob feels more appropriate. I feel like words are so inadequate to describe the way I felt about this book. Can you love someone enough to let them go?

Philadelphia based author Jason Rekulak presents his second novel, Hidden Pictures. But if Teddy isn’t drawing the pictures anymore, who is? And what are they trying to tell Mallory about her new home? Review: But the drawings somehow keep coming, telling a frightening story of a woman murdered… and they’re getting more sophisticated. Teddy’s crayons are confiscated, and his paper locked away. It is quite clear to Mallory and to Teddy’s parents, even in his crude childlike style, that the woman Teddy is drawing in his pictures is dead. That is until Teddy starts to draw disturbing pictures of his imaginary friend, Anya. She’s been sober for a year and a half and she’s sure her new nannying role in the affluent suburbs will help keep her on the straight and narrow. Mallory is delighted to have a new job looking after gorgeous four-year-old, Teddy. And the pictures are terrific!’ Stephen King The surprises really surprise and it has that hard-to-achieve propulsiveness that won’t let you put it down. The unforgettable debut thriller from Jason Rekulak with a twist you simply will not see coming… guaranteed to keep readers up at night.
